Seattle Polish Foundation (SPF) is the main Polish‑American charity in Seattle and Washington State — and everything we do is about keeping Polish culture vibrant, visible, and fun in the Pacific Northwest. We sponsor cultural events, support local Polish organizations, and team up with partners across the region to bring Polish traditions to the wider community.

🌟 Our Big Events

Polish Festival Seattle is our flagship celebration every July at Seattle Center. Since 2012, it’s been part of Festál — Seattle’s biggest cultural festival series — and each year 5,000–10,000 people come to enjoy Polish food, music, dance, art, and community. We organize it together with Seattle Center, the Polish Home Association, the Polish Women’s Club, and many others.

Every May, we also host Pierogi Fest at the Polish Cultural Center on Capitol Hill. It’s a neighborhood favorite that draws 800–1,000 guests for delicious food and a warm community vibe.

💪 How We Support the Community

SPF helps Polish organizations raise funds for projects that strengthen our cultural presence. Over the years, we’ve helped raise:

• $800,000 for the expansion of the Polish Home (now the Polish Cultural Center – Dom Polski)
• $70,000 for a Steinway grand piano and concert programs
• Grants from 4Culture, the City of Seattle Neighborhood Fund, and matching funds from local companies

We also support concerts, exhibitions, film festivals, Polish schools, UW Polish Studies, Vivat Musica choir, Polish Theater, Young Polanie, the Polish Scouts, and many other cultural groups.

🙌 SPF Runs on Volunteers

SPF is 100% volunteer‑powered — including all Directors and Officers. You don’t need to be Polish to help; you just need enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute.

Polish Festival alone needs 150–200 volunteers every year. If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something meaningful, fun, and community‑driven, this is your chance.
