PHA would like to thank you for your participation in the special ballot to approve the purchase of the 1708 18th Ave property adjacent to the Polish Home. Some members voted by mail, some attended special meeting on Sunday, October 12 to vote in person. 219 ballots were received with 216 members voted to approve the purchase and 3 votes to oppose the purchase. This year Seattle Polish Film Festival will be happening in October, but if there is a Polish film showing up in Seattle area in the meantime, we’ll let you know about it, and remind you at the same time that we continue working on our festival to bring to you the best Polish films available.

The Seattle Polish News has finally a new editor-in-chief. Bohdan Raciborski volunteered to run our news service in 2025. He replaces Ryszard Kott, who created the Polish News Seattle in 2002 as an independent news service and has served as the publisher and the editor-in-chief ever since. Join the Scouts! The local Polish Scouts troop invites children in group ages of 4-6, 7-10, 11-15 and 15+ to join the organization and have fun! Polish Scouts have a long history in Seattle for over 37 years. We welcome children of all ages starting at 4 years old through young adults. The Polish Spring Bazaar is a regular, full-blown affair this year and the organizers, the Polish Women’s Club, are looking for volunteers to help staging the event. The bazaar will be on April 9, 2022.
