The restaurant and the bar at the Polish Cultural Center has closed for the summer. The summer break this year will last two months, through July and August. The Polish government’s National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) is announcing this year’s courses of Polish language and culture for students and teachers from abroad. Lani Phillips Wins the 2021 Best Student of Polish Award

Lani Phillips, who has been learning Polish Language at the University of Washington Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures for the last two years, has received the prize for the Best Student of Polish there. Roy “Wojtek” Koczarski Has Died

Roy “Wojtek” Koczarski, a long time active member of the Polish community, and notably the architect taking care of the Polish Home, died on April 26, 2021 of natural causes with his family by his side.
