Fulbright Scholars At The UW Polish Studies

Fulbright Scholars from Poland have been enriching programs offered by the UW Slavic Department for several years now. Their yearly visits at the University of Washington have been financed in part by the UW Polish Studies Endowment Committee (UW PSEC). Consular Visit to Seattle

Polish Cultural Center Dinning Room Opens

The Polish Cultural Center does not have a permanent chef yet but a regular menu should return in November. For now, the dining room and the bar will open for Friday nights at usual hours with a limited menu starting on September 24, 2021. The menu includes different kinds of pierogi and a kielbasa dish, so if you missed Pierogi Fest last Saturday, this is your chance! Tea, coffee and pączki will also be available.

Open House at the Polish Choir

The Polish Choir Vivat Musica! invites all the people interested in singing Polish folk songs, carols as well as classic repertoire of songs by Polish composers to come to the open house and the choir meeting opening the season. Male singers are especially needed! You don’t need to know Polish to join the choir. The choir has practice sessions at the Polish Cultural Center on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm. Pierogi Fest is back!

One of the most beloved, and savored, events at the Polish Cultural Center in Seattle is back! Polish Theatre Looks For Talent

The Polish Theatre group is starting its first project in Polish and looks for children, youths and grown ups who would like to help with it. If you would like to get involved, come to the first meeting of the season on September 17, 2021. Polish Book Club: “Ślepnąc od świateł”

Salsa Dance Classes at the Polish Cultural Center

Polish Cultural Center offers salsa dance classes for advance dancers with Sala on Thursdays at 7:45 pm. Class sessions are six week long and the cost is $10 per person per class.
