Polish Activists Helping Ukrainian Refugees at the Polish Cultural Center

The World Affairs Council of Seattle invites everybody to an evening with NGO leaders and activists from Poland at the Polish Cultural Center. The evening is hosted by the Polish Honorary Consul Teresa Indelak Davis; also attending is Ukrainian Honorary Consul Valeriy Goloborodko.

This remarkable group of ten Polish leaders and activists participates in an International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) titled “Empowering Organizations Working with Refugees and Migrants in Poland“.  The program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, presents the United States’ policies and programs to resettle and integrate Ukrainian refugees and to explore opportunities and initiatives for international cooperation on refugee issues. To welcome them, the World Affairs Council of Seattle is hosting an evening reception at the Polish Home where they will share about their work to support and integrate refugees and migrants in Poland and are excited for the chance to connect with our Seattle community.  All are welcome to join and celebrate Polish-American ties!
