Seattle’s latest and most exciting word in chamber music is the extraordinary wind ensemble Viridian Winds, who will be presenting a night of “Musica Polonia”. The melodies of a flute, an oboe, a clarinet, a horn, a bassoon, and a piano will seamlessly intertwine in the stylings of Chopin, Bacewicz, Tansman, Muczynski, and Coleman. Since debuting at the 2023 Latino Chamber Music Festival put on by Orquesta Northwest, Viridian Winds has taken the Seattle chamber music world by storm. Founded by Kamil Tarnawczyk, “Musica Polonia” by Viridian Winds showcases some of the best performers from the University of Washington School of Music. This ensemble features the talents of:
