The Seattle Polish Festival invites you to participate in the Virtual Polish Christmas Orchestra, that will be part of the winter edition of the Virtual Polish Holiday Festival happening later this year.

The idea is to have local musicians come together and record themselves playing a part of in a Polish Christmas carol. This will be part of a video presented at the virtual Polish Holiday Festival later this year. Sheet music and the musical directions will be provided.

Interested people who play clarinet, violin, trumpet, contrabass, and accordion are asked to contact Maciej Smusz. Signup deadline is October 30, 2020.

Mr. Smusz is an accomplished folk dancer and musician and also a folk group animator and instructor, who recently moved to Seattle. Among other things, he founded and led the Karpaty Dance Ensemble in Salt Lake City in 2015 and brought the group to Seattle for a performance at the 2019 Polish Festival at the Seattle Center. We are happy to have him around!
